Default Pip has eaten some salty biscuit....!

I found Pip eating some salt and vinegar flavoured baked biscuit snack tonight I wondered why she was burrowing down the side of the sofa so intently....
I know how lethal excess salt can be to any creature.
Does anyone have any ideas? She has plenty of water and have given her some cooked cauliflower and cucumber as both have high water content....

As long as she's been given plenty of water and hasn't had any immediate adverse reactions, I think you should be okay. It's okay to occasionally offer small bits of chips and crackers as a treat every few months so I wouldn't worry too much over this. My hamster Duncan was once roaming about in a playpen on my kitchen floor when I spilled a whole bag of corn nuts (with syrup, salt, garlic, and other such on it) and he quickly pouched at least seven! He turned out alright though I'd never recommend feeding corn nuts. Just keep an eye on her and if anything seems amiss, take her to a vet. Good luck, hope all is well with her

They will eat anything given the chance. You've done the right thing leaving cauliflower & cucumber along with plenty water. Try not too worry Rads, Pip's very sensible.

She should be fine. Sometimes they just pouch things up and take them to the store then never eat them but even if she did one wouldn't cause problems as long as she has plenty water and veg as you gave her.
Better get the vac out down the sofa sides as she knows she might find something down there now LOL!

I am pleased to say that Pip seems to have no ill effects from her Salt and Vinegar snack episode, she is up and about and chewing her wheel like a lunatic....
