Eye infection?
Hi my 9 month old dwarf Tommy has woken up today with his left eye stuck. I used a little warm water and it unstuck and he seemed fine. I've just go him out again to have a look and his eye has red around the edges and that side of his face is wet where it must be weeping. He is eating and drinking as normal. I'm just worried as when we adopted him we were told he has an eye infection when he was very little and he had to be separated from his cage mates, so maybe he is prone to them?
Is there anything I can do for him at home to ease it if it's sore for him? I will call the vets tomorrow to get him an appointment but in the meantime does anyone have any ideas to treat it?
Thank you!

Re: Eye infection?
Sorry to hear about Tommy's eye problem, if it is infected the vet will probably give you some drops to put in, all you can really do at home beforehand is bath them as you have done if they get stuck together again.
Hope he's better soon.
