Well, I'm never buying carefresh again... 12 quid for a tiny bag that doesn't even cover half the Alaska!!!

Great news that you're getting her today

Carefresh is expensive, have you tried Fitch? It's a lot cheaper & much nicer too, less dusty & no smell!

I like those stores, only problem is the nearest one to me doesn't sell animals There has been one that opened a bit further away recently so that one may do

She's home! She's so teeny <3 more brown than black, not sure if her fur will get lighter with age or darker?

The area that the leg was amputated from looks a little strange where the fur was shaved but there's no sign of a wound, she's completely healed. She zooms around fast too! She's as energetic and curious as any baby ham should be and is very used to being handled. She's not too keen on sitting in hands but I'm sure that will come with time.

She's now in her Alaska, which for the moment is quite simple with just a few bits in. She absolutely LOVES her saucer and worked it out within seconds of being on it.

She really is a sweet, confident girl who I'm very proud to have

Haven't got any decent pics of her yet as she's been zooming around everywhere but here's a link to a video of her on FB - https://www.facebook.com/charlotte.a...53903964471592

Any thoughts on names??

Yeah, used Fitch before. I stopped using it when I had an elderly robo who struggled with it being such big pieces. Going to order some though, not impressed with Carefresh at all. Only reason I ordered Carefresh instead was because I needed it immediately and it was on Amazon Prime. Never again!

She's lovely, lucky to have found a good home. I must say I'm impressed with the pet shop treating her rather than "dispatching" her. The missing leg isn't bothering her at all by the looks.

They're incredibly good. Generally speaking I don't agree with pet stores selling animals, however, if there was such a thing as a "perfect" pet store, they're it.

They also didn't charge me for her. All they wanted - head office included, as they approved it - is for her to go to a good home. I cannot recommend them enough!
