Re: Urgent advise needed!
I might be struggling to see what you're seeing - to me it looks like sand goes when they pee and it gets wet?

Re: Urgent advise needed!
it's unfortunately not just wet sand, that is poo, not soft enough to be liquid, it can be picked up, but definetly not normal.

Re: Urgent advise needed!
Ok. Has anything changed recently - has he had a new food, or some very watery veg? This could have caused it possibly

Re: Urgent advise needed!
Are you sure it's not urine like PN suggested? Hamster poops are black, at least healthy hammies are black solid dried poop
Hope u can figure it out soon!

Re: Urgent advise needed!
I cleaned his caged yesterday and changed his food to, so yeah, i'm thinking that might play a part.

Re: Urgent advise needed!
New food needs a gradual introduction and change over or it can upset the tummy.
If you have any old type then give him that then start adding about an eigth new to the old and gradually increase the percentage till you are on completely new type over about 3 weeks always monitoring how he responds.
Try and keep him calm and leave him be overnight and see if he settles. If not then you should see the vet.

Re: Urgent advise needed!
I already switched him back right away, i'll keep that in mind about changing the food gradually, thanks I'm staying up tonight and looking in on him every hour, but not disturbing him.

Re: Urgent advise needed!
Could he have had a bit too much veg or salad? That needs to be introduced slowly & even a little too much could easily cause a problem like that but he should be fine if you stop fresh food for a day or two then gradually reintroduce it, may just a tiny piece every few days to begin with.
