Ear Mites?
Hello all,
So I have seen a few small lump- like things on Nutmeg's ears. In the past she had itched her ear a bit and make a small click/squeak, she hasn't itched her ear recently let alone make a clicking noise again (this is without me seeing) I have got some pictures of her ears

What does anybody think? Vet trip? Is there anything to worry about? Or is it completely normal
Thanks

Re: Ear Mites?
Hi Gimley,
Although it's difficult to tell with those pictures, I personally would recommend a trip to the vet to check up on Nutmeg's health, especially with the lump on her leg/stomach you were talking about earlier. It's always better to be safe than sorry - even if the safe does cost a bit!

Re: Ear Mites?
How would you treat this if it was ear mites?

Re: Ear Mites?
I can't really see anything from the photos but the first signs of mites are usually around the eyes & ears, if she hasn't been scratching around her ears a lot then it probably isn't mites, the treatment for mites is usually the drops but you should never treat for mites without seeing a vet to confirm that's what it is.

I wasn't going to I was just curious, shall I just watch her and see if she itches her ears? Or vet trip now?

Re: Ear Mites?
I can't really tell what it is tbh, they can have a few different problems with their ears but if it's not bothering her at all it should be ok to just keep an eye on her for now. If it starts irritating her & causes scratching or if you see any change in the lumps then I would see your vet.
