Default Scab on back - what could it be?

This evening I was giving Mo a check over and came accross a scab on her back just below her neck, between her shoulder blades.

Its a red scab, like a thin line - where she has obviously bled a little and it has dried.

I am not sure where it has come from - although she flips around in her puzzle playground, and tonight got scared and when dashing and clattering in there - I supposed she could have knocked her back a bit hard and cut herself?

I'm worried about it- do I need to do anything in particular? like clean it? I touched it a few times (to see if it hurt her, but she didnt seem to notice) and am now worried ive put my germs on there...but it is dry so should be ok right?

Just the sight of the scab was quite a surprise so would appreciate any opinions!

She has likely done as you said and knocked it a bit hard. They normally heal well and quickly so if the scab it OK I would just leave it now. The scab will have sealed it over so there should be no germs get in. I would just watch it closely and if it looks swollen or oozy she will need a vet visit to get some treatment.

I am aware that this is an old post but I still wanted to say thank you, I have the same thing with my hamster and seeing a scab on his back really scared me, but I feel a little better after reading your advice, so thank you again.
