Default Lack of shineyness?

Hey all, I'm a little concerned that my syrain's coat isn't looking as shiney and plush as usual and was wondering if there was anything I could do to help her coat? She's fine in herself, eats and drinks and isnt messy around the bum, although she does pick and choose with her Harry Hamster a lot more than she used to =/ Any help?

My old girl (buffy) has looked a lot better coat wise since I started using a sand bath, do you have one for your girl?

I have a bird bath from Wilkinsons for the Campbells and a plastic take away container (I know I'm cheap) for each of the Syrians.

Nothing wrong with recycling I was considering one of those pottery rabbit food bowls (not filled right up, obviously!) but wasn't too sure.

If you go to Holland & Barratt you can buy a box of debittered brewers yeast powder. Sprinkle a pinch over her food daily or mix with some porridge. This does help thicken and improve the coat we find. Maybe add some omega seed mix too.
Hamsters dont really show when they shed their coats but they do do it very gradually.
