I went to take a picture of my hamster and it was alittle dark and it said flash was off but it was on and im scared i rlly hurt him

Most likely gave him a good scare. He may see a white light(think of what happens to your own eyes when you look at the flash) Until his eyes readjust he will probably be very scared and nervous as until the eyes readjust he will basically be blinded by the white spot from the flash. However he should be fine after a little bit of time. Just let him be in a dark quite area for a few hours and then check him out.
