Exclamation Hamster Leg joint extened outwards!!!

Hello,

Well as we know Meeko has had a problem with her right leg becoming limp and she now seems to have her left leg becoming limp with the joint looking like it was extended outwards, I have pictures:

The second picture is clearer.

Is is normal?

She is going to the vets very soon and I mean like in the next week so this will be mentioned but what does anybody think? I think this is the leg that is causing her limping but the right leg is contributing to though.

I think it sounds like the only way to know for sure is to get her to vets as soon as possible. This may well be causing her pain so at the very least you should be able to get some pain meds for her.

I hate to say it but there could be a tumor or mass hiding under her groin forcing the leg out.

Hope she is going to be just fine

That does not look right at all. You need to get her checked as soon as possible. She must be in real pain, especially if she's limping. Maybe try get an earlier appointment? There's nothing people on HC can do about it i'm afraid. Hope she'll be okay.

I think she has had it for a while though as I spotted it before but didn't think much of it but will keep an eye on it and will mention this to the vets.

If you leave it any longer it will get worse. Can't you see if they have a space today? mention that you think it's broken, tell them over the phone the symptoms and they may be able to get you in sooner.

It's not right at all. There could be a tumour or something pressing on the nerves and causing the legs to extend like that. Hope she can be seen soon.
