I'm not an expert on that, but it doesn't sound like it to me as I think there would be much more diarrhoea than that and her back end wet and smelly. I know how you feel though - I was worried sick when I found a bit of diarrhoea in Charlie's wheel once - it turned out to be soggy food!

Hey! See how she is overnight, but for now just keep an eye on her. It's very possible that she got a little over excited or stressed and is sleeping now. Also if she's been very active for the past few days then she probably needs her beauty sleep. I was just wondering if it could have anything to do with any fruit or veg you gave her? She could maybe have had a little too much - most aren't used to any - or too much water in her system (from things like cucumber). To be honest I don't know anything about Wet Tail, but I did watch a youtube video about it only last night (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vh-5YRMT-OU) The girl on there is/was on this forum, and does lots of other videos too if you want to check them out.
I'd say keep an eye on her then see how she is in the morning. Hopefully she will be ok If you are really concerned though, and can't wait until the morning, you may be able to get hold of an emergency vet. Ideally you need one who specializes in "exotic pets" but this may not be possible at this time of night. Please please keep us all updated. We're all thinking of you, and sending lots of furry hugs to your hamster. Oh, what's her name??

Thanks pinkneon. I did give her a little bit of cucumber, a tiny bit romaine lettuce and a single pea over the weekend but that's it. Perhaps that's what it's from. She's just had another drink and ate some dry cereal I put near her I guess that's a good sign? Though still gone back to bed. I'm gonna have to go to sleep myself as I'm up early. If I think she needs the vets come morning then she takes priority over work.

I've checked out those videos earlier In a panic!ever Google search for 'diarrhea' comes up with wet tail. Hence the panic but she's nowhere near as bad as those cases yet.

She was only today named Poppy!

I'm just starting to really bond with her so hopefully this diarrhea does one for good.

Oh and while she was up there I checked for droppings and diarrhea and there was nothing. So it's been at least 6 hours since her last dump.

I don't have any experience or advice with the diarreha but I just wanted to send hugs and prayers your way. I hope your fur baby is OK. Keep us updated please!

I hope she won't require a vet visit. That will be even more stressful for the two of you. Hopefully you'll both have a good night's sleep.
If it is from the fruit and veg it might be worth not giving her any at all for the next few days, and then start introducing them one at a time, slowly. I think some people say every couple of days to begin with, then eventually to every day, though I'm not totally sure if that is correct
Also, this might sound like a silly question, but did you check the veg was in date? I will definitely pop back to this thread tomorrow and see how she's doing!
Oh, and Poppy is a LOVELY name! I have a niece named Poppy

I hope this helps, the vet told me to mark the water level on our poorly hammy's water bottle to check how much he was drinking as they get dehydrated so fast and we added probiotic to the water. I gave him a dish of water near his food to encourage him to drink. The vet prescribed Baytril antibiotic.
Just check his food store that there are no mice droppings in there - I was shocked to find that there were in our hammy's food corner and also to find out they can catch a disease from mice with similar symptoms! Plain boiled rice and oats are good for their poorly tums.
Good luck, I hope she is OK!

Sorry to hear you've had such a scare.
It doesn't sound like wet tail, I think she'd be showing a lot more signs of being generally unwell but you can't really be sure just yet, fingers crossed it's just a short term thing that will quickly clear up on it's own.
These things do sometimes happen as they get used to new foods & settling in to a new home.
Plain dry porridge oats, just a few, which they normally enjoy anyway can help to settle things down.

No signs of any further diarrhea this morning. However I can't find if she's pooing normally again either as I can't see stools. She ate a few forms of dry food last night and I know she's had water. She went for a pee this morning and seemed well. There's some good this morning too, she appears to have moved out of her nest and into her house!

Hopefully she's running round like a lunatic when I'm back from work. Will let you all know
