Please help me!

One more syringe of anti biotics for poppy tonight then I'll put the rest away for another rainy day. There hasn't been a single drop of diarrhea since Thursday now (since porridge twice a day and anti biotics), one or both of those treatments worked. Her stools are perfect now there's loads of them in her nest (she's moved out of her house into the corner of the tank with most of her toilet paper grrrr. She looks cosy though.

I think that's that with the diarrhea now. I won't be complacent though, she'll be staying on her current diet and introduced to nuts and apples in very slow time after the move to her new tank.

If anyone has similar problems then I would use the advice I've followed - milk free porridge, vets at earliest opportunity, Harry hamster muesli and lots of water...oh and lots of patience and rnr for the little ham

Poppy is perfect for now let's hope she stays that way Thank you to everyone who helped me and Poppy get through this difficult time we are so grateful. I won't lie, it's been extremely tough.

I'm so glad she is better! And Sweep is too! He'd like to know if you will be starting Poppy her own thread?

I'm not sure about her own thread as I'm not very good at writing about her day to day life haha. I prefer to read others and just make a thread when we need help from you guys .

I think Poppy is in heat at the moment. It's something I've only just learnt. Obviously Suzi would've been in heat loads but I never asked or wondered why she would sit on my hand and let me stroke her back while she was frozen with her tail in the air lol. I thought it was because she enjoyed the stroke from her dad, turns out she was waiting for her knight in shining armour.
