So sorry, but you did all you could do for him. I know making that hard decision is never easy, but you gave him love till the last moment and now he is not suffering any more thanks to your willingness to say good bye.
RIP Sir Nugget find all the wonderful things at the rainbow bridge where the wheels never squeak and the sunflower seeds pour down like rain drops.

Hugs to you laracaloosian it takes pure love to let go of the last string of a heart hamster. I do pray you can remember Nugget when he was a happy young pup and soon find another Hamster not to replace Nugget but to let experience the fun things Nugget taught you while on this earth.

thank you so much, it means a lot. He was really the greatest companion. I miss him like crazy.

Thank you, this really made me happy. I miss him like crazy, and I really wish he didn't have to go so suddenly and in so much pain. But I know that he is crossing the rainbow bridge with all of his hamster friends and loving his life up there. He taught me so much. He taught me that love comes in all shapes and sizes. it is so unreal that he is gone. Thank you for the kind words. It really helps.
