A question about a bug in the cage?
Ok so I was transporting Nutmeg from house to house and a small white bug was in the cage (it was mm in length [a tick?!]) and I blew on it and I am not sure where it went, I am going on holiday tomorrow and they are going to be with a friend. I am going to 'clean' out their cages (They are not in their usual detolf cage as I am on holiday tomorrow- they are in smaller cages) tomorrow (the smaller ones- just replacing bedding as of the bug) and clean their wheel and food and do their water all tomorrow morning as I don't leave until mid afternoon. Where I live however it is 10:53 and I want a fresh start so is it urgent to do all the tasks now or get up at 7 and to it tomorrow?
All the best,
Gimleyand Meeko

Re: A question about a bug in the cage?
What's your question? It doesn't sound like a problem to me. I doubt it was a tick because they tend to hold on to things really well, plus they're not white. More likely it was a drain fly or a whitefly. Do you have any houseplants?
