Default Wet scent glands?

Sorry for starting another topic this evening but thought someone here might be able to answer a question i have. i was asked to take on another rescue hammy in december. we were told he was around 6 months old but obviously no one can be sure of his age. anyway, he is perfectly healthy and happy, but i have noticed that his scent glands always seem to wet anyone know why that could be? Kaim is a Syrian, and as i said other then that he is perfectly healthy. i never see him at his scent glands or anything and its not really worrying me but figured i would ask while im here

don't worry, it's perfectly normal. They lick the scent glands to activate them, for want of a better word.

Scent glands often appear wet especially if they smell a lady or are busy marking their territory. It is quite normal
