Update on Daisy's Baldness
Hi everyone,
Okay, I'm actually quite worried about Daisy now. Her bald patchy thing is some what healing.....there's rings of fur growing about her lower leg and thigh.
But: On the bald side, I can see her hip very obviously protruding, it looks much larger her right side and is knobbly feeling (not smooth and tucked in like her other side). She is also doing a slightly splayed leg waddle. She pushes the leg out at an angle.
Other wise, she is tucking into her grub, bright eyed and chirruping. Her ears are perky, she wants to play and shows no signs of any-discomfort.
I have her out and about now, on the first of her nightly roams. She is a bit splay legged but can sit up, waddle about and doing everything a curious hammy likes to do.
Could this be an old injury? A dietary issue?Or is that I have never seen her hip ''naked''and uncovered from its thick coat of fluff?
