Default Dwarf Hamsters & Cheese?

Would my dwarf hamsters be able to eat a small piece of cheese? I know my syrian one did, but I want sure for dwarfs.

Thank you.

Mine get a little bit of lactofree cheddar now & then, a really really thin piece maybe 1/2cm square.

It`s not something I feed even as a treat. If in doubt, better to feed a small raw piece of vegetable like carrot, broccoli or cauliflower, all loved by hamsters and the best way to get extra nutrients/vitamins and fibre into them. x
