Testing diabetes?

Where can you get diabetes tests from? I had a look in my local pet shops but couldn't seem to find it. It's for one of my dwarfs - she drinks loads, (100ml went in a couple of days) and cage smells like nail polish remover. She's got many symptoms that I've read about on here so want to get it checked out but don't really know how to

You can buy the test sticks from most Chemists. Somewhere like Boots or Llyods. Ask for Diastix test strips and try and get the ones that test for both glucose and ketones. There is an article on the WIKI which gives help with how to change diet to manage the condition depending on the results.
