My Syrian, Kernel, has had chronic issues with hair loss. He's been tested for a variety of mites and fungal infections & all have come back negative. He grew all of his hair back, including a full skirt, but has relapsed and is losing all of his fur again. The fur loss, this time, is accompanied by a rapidly growing "growth" (I'd assume a tumor) under his left pouch on his chin. See pic. I have a vet appointment scheduled for tomorrow, but does anyone have any knowledge of tumors and hair loss being associated?
