Question hamster litter?

Im not sure if hamster litter is safe to use, it says that its made from natural materials. It has a bit of a rocky texture to it, i've heard that you can't use clumping litter, I might be over reacting but I wanna be sure thanks x

There's another thread on almost the same from a couple of days ago, called is kaytee litter safe. General consensus seems to be that the litter is safe so long as it's not ingested, but hams like to chew stuff, so maybe it's not the best thing to use. Most people seem to be using sand in their hamsters potties.
