Am i being over paranoid?
i didn't know where to put this, since some of my hamsters died because of
"wet tail" my new hamster, buddy i have been feeling quite paranoid with
him developing it.So on tuesday i am buying the wet tail drop from the pet store. Also i have been worried about him dying on me like the others, i make noises so he would move and show me that he is still alive.
I know i must sound very crazy or very paranoid but it's how i have been feeling.
Thank u for your time.

Re: Am i being over paranoid?
You probably are being a bit paranoid but it sounds totally natural to me, it's quite understandable that you feel that way but I'm sure Buddy will be fine, try not to worry so much & just enjoy him, the less stressed you are the less stressed he'll be when you're around him.

Re: Am i being over paranoid?
It's normal to worry after what you've been through. Try to enjoy the time you have together.

Re: Am i being over paranoid?
After what you've been through, I'd be exactly the same.
Hamsters can pick up if you're stressed, so try and enjoy Buddy. Get him into a routine that suits you both and keep to it.

Re: Am i being over paranoid?
Don't worry, I have the same problem as my first hamster died of wet tail and now I'm paranoid of it so it's normal. Thinking of you and Buddy XxX

Re: Am i being over paranoid?
Found out that Buddy does have wet tail, he is being treated at the place i got him. They said in a week or two i can pick him up,they asked me if i wanted to exchange him ,but i chose the treatment as i couldn't just trade him in.

Re: Am i being over paranoid?
Oh so sorry Skyblue, of course you couldn't just trade him in. I hope he has a speedy recovery. Good thing you were "paranoid"! ((hugs)) xx
