Hi Lizzy, thank you for the support, and the crossed fingers.

The vet said we should go back in roughly 10 days, so probably either this weekend (6/7th) or early next week (the 10th), but I'm fully prepared to take him back sooner if needs be.

I'm really concerned because the more I look at Timi the more I think it might be Cushings. I also tried to track back when the problems first arose and they co-incide with the last food order I got for him so I also wondered if there's something wrong with his food that's done this. Feels like I'm grasping at straws, but the progression has just been so quick. He's such a little fighter but I don't want him to suffer.

Yes, the progression of any illness can happen so quickly, I wish I had eyes in the back of my head.
This food order you got him, is it the same mix? Same company?
Have you checked their website for any comments from other customers?
If you think it's Cushing's, I would get in touch with the vet before your next appointment and see about getting tests done.

The food I get him is the Burgess SupaHamster Syrian mix. He's had the same mix from the same company since I got him and, I've not checked their website. There was just something about the scent of the pack, but I put it down to the fact that the bag seem to have more of a particular type of nugget than the previous bags and didn't think it's be an issue. I ordered a fresh bag from them last night just in case, and invested in some fresh veg to cut and mash up for him - he loves cucumber so I'm hoping that will perk him up. He seems to be drinking less and leaving his nest left, although he did manage roughly 2 teaspoons of food while I was asleep. I don't want to get my hopes up thought.
