Default help.hamster have menstrual bleeding???

hi friend.I need a help.
She is a female djungarian hamster called "silver fox” in china.

she is one years and six months old.
she's food is "JR FARM" and oxbow.
I have found blood in her Genitals today.

I want to know that if a hamster have menstrual bleeding???

Hamsters don't bleed normally, it's hard to see what might be going on from your photo but if you find any more blood it would be best to get her checked by your vet.

I have googled a bit as I don't know. I found something that said that although Hamsters don't have menstrual bleeding regularly, they can have a tiny bit occasionally, but an online vet on Just Answers says they don't have menstrual bleeding and it could be an infection causing it and could need antibiotics. So as Cypher says - best to take her to a vet to be checked out.

You should get her to a vet. Hamsters don't bleed, instead they can have some discharge but I've never seen any involving blood. It could be an infection and will need medication. Be sure to find a vet with hamster knowledge though.

I agree with all the above suggestions. An infection in the womb called Pyometra can cause death suddenly if left alone and untreated. This could also be a sign of a Bladder infection which if untreated can lead to a Kidney infection and then death.
