Hi Ian-

This happened on Friday- I'd say the fumes where the strongest for at least an hour, until the pieces of plexiglass dried. As soon as I realized he'd been gluing I. The hams room, I removed the glued pieces from the room, but I could smell a " faint" odor. I'm sure the smell had to of been much stronger as he was applying the glue, and with the fan blowing the fumes around. Now that I think about it, Teddie was running like a maniac on her saucer, but thought, she was excited due to her cage.. My bad.. My husband feels horrible right now. There's no fumes/odors in the room, I had the door to the room opened which it's normally closed.. The door was open when the glue was being used, he said.
I'm just completely Gutted, beyond words...

I just looked at the time and thought you must be back from the vets by now. But I noticed you are 6 hours behind me. lol. Fingers crossed Tedie is ok.

Yes, I'm 6 hours behind UK. Going to have to wake her up in a bit.. Wondering what can be given to her if she's sick due to the glue fumes, if anything. My husband was trying to help, he does not know much about hamsters.. I will be teaching him many things in the future..

If it is from the fumes, they might just give pure oxygen to breathe. This will help clear the lungs.
