Re: Dwarf hybrid Bloody Aspen
Hamsters don't have periods, so that's definitely not it.
How much blood was there? A lot or just a couple specks?

Re: Dwarf hybrid Bloody Aspen
See if you can get her to climb into a hamster ball or glass jar so you can get a good look at her entire body. See if there's any specs of blood on her rear, around her lady parts, on her paws or face and look for any injuries.
Sometimes a hamster might get a small nick from one of its toys or something, and a few drops of blood will be found, but these small cuts generally heal very quickly. If you see any sign of blood coming from her nose, mouth, bum, or genitals she needs to see a vet.

Re: Dwarf hybrid Bloody Aspen
Without seeing her myself, I don't know, it could be any number of things: a cut, an infection, a burst abcess or cyst. Pyometra is the most common uterine problem in Syrians, but is very very rare in dwarfs, and isn't usually bloody.
Is there any chance at all that she is pregnant?

Re: Dwarf hybrid Bloody Aspen
If it's been over a month it's not pups. I think you need to see a vet, immediately.

All vets are closed where im at and If its something bad shes not going to make it till morning. This is a very sad moment that i don't know what could have caused it... I feel like a bad owner.

Re: Dwarf hybrid Bloody Aspen
Is there any fluffy bedding in her cage? or has she eaten anything weird lately? You might be describing an impaction.
Here's an older thread where a robo hamster had a serious impaction from ingesting fluffy bedding.
