Default wet tail...

Hi I got hamster from pet store
he's was sable banded long haired hamster
he's was around almost 5 weeks old
when I got him
because he was tiny little guy..
anyway after 10 days I bring home
he was start to have wet tail
I didn't know that for while
check on him I notice it's was
wet tail was sure that I bring him back
to pet store they said they will take to vet
that was Aug.1
I called them in Aug.7 I believe
lady told me he's feeling little bit better
not too much...
I believe vet probably gave him
Antibiotics
Anti-diarrheal medications
Subcutaneous and oral fluids to combat dehydration
they said he need to go vet Aug. 11 which is today for recheck
but they told me they don't know when he will feel better
when he will come home with me..
I got cage for him... I really miss him
is wet tail take really long for treatment to get better?

10 days isn't a really long time, its fairly normal for a ham with severe health problems to take 10 days or so to recover
