Re: Sick ham...any thoughts about these symptoms?
Fingers crossed the vet may be mistaken and the antibotics shrink it. Sending you, J.J, and your students the best of wishes

Re: Sick ham...any thoughts about these symptoms?
Thank you all for your kind words and wishes. The vet called this morning to say Jj took a turn for the worse. She was having rectal protrusion and was not eating or active so rather than them keep trying to put it back in I made the choice to put her to sleep. She was a great first ham and while I'll miss her I know she is not suffering!

I am so sorry. You made the right choice to set her free when she would be in pain if allowed to continue.
She sounds like an amazing hamster who touched many lives.
Play well at the bridge JJ. x

I am SO very sorry to hear about j.j. . I know how great of a hamster she was for you and your students. Please remember that even though j.j. got her wings today, she will be waiting at the rainbow bridge for you.
Play well at the rainbow bridge j.j. xx
