Stressed out?

We have a 2 year old male syrian and we recently got a 6 week old female. They are both in separate cages in the same room and I was wondering if it would stress them out being able to smell each other? I've noticed when he is having his out of cage time after she has been out he goes to all the places she has been and sniffs them so he can obviously smell her. This won't stress him out will it?

I have two females and three males in the same room and if anything I think they like to smell each other around. It seems to perk up my boys when they smell a female, especially if she is in heat.

I also find that if a male manages to get out of its ball or cage it is not gone long and can be found wandering around the girl's cage which is great as one of my boys is a proper houdini!LOL

We have a male syrian and two female syrians in the same room without a problem We also have male and female chinese and hybrids in the same room, and used to have male and female robos in here too (now we only have a male). The only time we've ever had a problem was when we had a male robo living directly above a female, then it bothered the male so we swapped the cage locations and they were both fine again

I've got three boys in the same room as Dora, and they love it! She's not particularly bothered, but Hamish and Arnold go loopy if they can smell her on heat, Hamish also likes licking me after Dora has been anywhere near me!
