Default Crusty round pee hole

Felix is slightly crusty there as i think cos he has fluid retention in back end and its make it harder for him to get about. I have tried to clean the the small crusty bit which is dried urine but i cant get one little bit off as i would have to rub hard i think but i dont want to hurt him as i know he does not like it as he wriggles. I know hes getting old but could anyone help on how to clean this as i dont want him getting sore skin.

Well, he isn't going to like having it cleaned period, but you are right about wanting to be gentle. All I can suggest is using a warm wash cloth to clean it gently. I hope this is helpful to you. x

I used a cotton pad in warm water but to no avail as he was getting a bit distressed.

I'd just leave it for now. Urine doesn't really stick like that so it may be a discharge or something oozing from the skin causing this. It may be best to see the vet with him unless you feel he is comfortable and it is old age and him not being able to clean up well.
