I should hopefully be procuring a viv so he can go in my Syrian's (Chibikuma) bin cage. He's doing a lot better today! I gave him a carrot stick to keep him hydrated. Here's a timeline of his recovery!

1. Sad, poorly, floppy Smokey.

2. Slightly less poorly Smokey.

3. Giving Smokey kisses for being a good boy and eating some of his carrots.

4. Rewarding him by letting him fall off my face. He held on by biting my lip. Serves me right.

That`s really is good news that Smokey is feeling a bit better. His fur still looks a little `wet` or greasy? Does he have a sand bath to roll in a few times a week? Supreme Charlie Chinchilla sand is very good for their coats if they are greasy. Is he eating better?

Excellent news about your little man; fab set of photos of him definitely on the mend! Fingers crossed now for a full recovery. I can recommend the sand baths; my Syrians love them and they feel so clean when they emerge, too. It will help his coat no end (and, apparently, his claws too!)

I am glad to hear he is feeling a bit better. Did you have him seen by a vet? I'd keep him very calm and not too much stimulation while he recovers. Strokes can easily happen again and he still looks very fragile there. While he is unwell it is best you do not put him so near your mouth as he could pic up a cold or germ you may be carrying.
Get well soon little lad xx
