Sammy- Syrian 1 year 3 months, 110g. He has always ben tiny so I guess that's just his build.
Teddy Bear- Syrian 9 months, 115g
Bruce- Syrian, 5 moths, 110g
Tiger- Syrian,3 1/2 months- 115g.
Mickey- Syrian 5 3/4 months- 154b
And the biggest Syrian Oreo- the only female- around 3 months old a whooping 184g.
I have to share a pic of Oreo on the scale, she looked at me like "Who are you calling a big girl."

As for my little hybrids, I have managed to get 2 of the 5 weighed so far.
Spike- 1 year 2 months 77g
Pip- 4 1/2 months 58g. Pip was the smallest little hybrid I had ever seen, he is still quite a bit smaller than his brothers but is nice and round

I am not sure how but I will have to try weighing the robo boys soon too.

I use a plastic tub when I weigh mine on the digital scales. None have managed to escape yet, they seem used to the procedure now.

I often use their travel box then just deduct the weight of it from the total

Even Charlie can handle being weighed this way

Don't do what I did the other week and weigh a roborovski and forgot to deduct the weight of the container which is 13g incidentally. I ended up with a very heavy hamster until I realised what I'd done

Today I have (all Syrians here):
Penny- 188g (7 mo old)
Wicket- 140g (1 year 11 mo old)
Gizmo- 136g (1 year 11 mo old)
Oliver- 65g (almost 6 weeks old) 14g gain in a week!

I've started putting a couple sunflower seeds on the scale and zeroing it out. They sit on it and eat. I tried the container method but the scale jumped around too much as they were trying to get out.

Today I did my first weigh-in of my hammy crew. I bought a scale that the furries can sit in safely and it was delivered yesterday. It is a Salter 021WHDR Mechanical Diet Scale that I bought on Amazon.

The cup is wonderful because the hammies sit inside it and can’t just walk off it the way they did on my flat scale.

Almond is first

Almond weighs in at:

Almond has lots of room in the cup

Next up is Ted E. Bear

Ted E’s a small Syrian, weighing in at:

My boy Ted E. takes up half the cup

Nutmeg is my big girl

Nutmeggie is my heaviest hammy, weighing:

And Nutmeg nearly fills the cup!

I finally found a scale I can use. Thanks for the recommendation Bec!

Now I just have to figure out ounces vs. grams LOL

That is a great scale for them! And must be nice to have them so they stay still in it!

There is a weight converter you can use:
http://www.thecalculatorsite.com/con...sandweight.php

Looks like they are having fun being weighed!

We weighed Skittle last week and he weighed in at 176g. He's a male Syrian, 5 months old. Going by all the above, he's a good, healthy weight, so that's fab!

I finally got a small kitchen scale for my hamster babies to check their weights (I have a baby scale to monitor my kitties too!) I weighed Waffles, my nine month old long haired Syrian first and he was 210g. He is not fat or anything, but just a big boy I guess! Next on deck was Tilly the six month old winter white hybrid. She weighed 50g right on the nose
