Oh my dear Mark, maybe he has his own secret stash of treats hidden in his cage?

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
Holly seems to have stabilised over the last couple of weeks at around 178, since I got her a new bigger Comfort wheel she is exercising a lot more, she really loves it. It also means she is a lot less hyper when I bring her out for floor time, she seems quite happy to potter around quietly and then just sit happily in the corner.
She is now 4 months old so I guess she probably won't grow much more, she is a big girl now!

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
Right.... now that my mini scales have arrived, I thought I'd get in on this weighing log.
Along with the scales came two extra pairs of hamsters.....
Gina (Syrian)... 154g
Becki (my original Syrian now ham-napped)... 132g
New pair of Pearl WW boys.... Chip and Dale
Chip... 24g
Dale... 23g
I knew these boys were small but they're massively underweight methinks. Does anyone know what a young WW should weigh? The lady I adopted from said they were 6 weeks old but I suspect now that they were a lot younger.
Good news is that they both put on at least 6g each since I first got them.
New Pair of Agouti WW girls... Splat and Trickle.
Splat... 48g
Trickle... 39g

Weekly weigh in for Buster our Syrian. 16 weeks old and now 138g, thats a 14g gain from last week and a total of 55g gain since we got him 6 weeks ago.
Think he's going to be a little chubbymeister!

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
Just weighed Sen and she's gained 16g in the past 3 weeks. From 145g to 161g. We've had her for four months, so she's probably about 5/6 months old. She is a big ham (and doesn't look too fat I don't think) but does this sound okay? Or should I cut back on treats?
Amy, I can't believe Ruby only weighs 65g! :O That's so tiny!!!

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
Ive just weighed Ruby again, shes is about 75-80g because she wasnt staying still and she had a shredded wheat! She is still so tiny, i feed her a tablespoon a day and add in some stuff and make sure she gets treats every few days but i can still slightly feel her bones... i must be doing something wrong Ive just worked out that ruby is 11 weeks i think, how much should she weigh?
Gillzy, i think thats an ok weight for Sen, as long as she dosent look really fat and your not giving her really sugary treats alot its fine
