Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
I weighed Sen yesterday - boy was that hard - I think she's about 145g. I put her in a bowl, and whenever she moved to the edge of it trying to scrabble out the weight would fluctuate. I'll try putting a bit of broccoli in there next time (and tare it then), hopefully then she'll sit and munch. She sounds an okay weight. My OH calls her "fat lump", but I think that is by comparison to dwarfies hehe.

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
At the third weigh in for Buster our Syrian, he is 98g. He is now 12 weeks old(ish), and has been putting on weight since we got him home, 8g last week and 7g this week. He still looks like a skinny little thing, especially when he stretches up to say 'hello'. Not to worry, soon have him looking like a little sumo

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
How much should a 6-7 week old syrian female weigh? Im going to weigh ruby soon, If she will stay still! I have a feeling she is a bit underweight though she is so light even though she gets plenty of healthy treats and baby food...

That is a perfect weight for Ruby. It's just some members dwarfies are very chubby! My other two only weigh 65g each. I think the average for a WW, Hybrid, Campbells is 50-65g.
