Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
Update on my boys a month since I last weighed them.
Huxley (8 months) 77g so has put two back on after losing 5g.
Horace (4 1/2 months) 65g so no change
Hamlet (14 weeks) 55g so he has put 5g on.

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
Weighed last Sunday:
Runner (russian dwarf): 64 grams
Messy (russian dwarf): 61 grams
Choco (syrian): 112 grams.
I am suprised how much weight Messy gained after he and Runner were seperated.
I'd like to see Choco to gain some weight: he acts like an athlete so he can use some chub to burn!

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
Hey all,
Billy, my big black boy, weighs about 160g, he's about 1 year 9 months, he's very chunky! And Noah, my sable, is about 2 years 3 months now and dropped down in the last 4 months from about 110g to just under 100g... he's always been quite small and active, he seems very well and healthy in himself still so i think the slow drop down of weight might have to do with age?!
Hope you're all well

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
They certainly do loose weight once they get older, but keep an eye on him

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
Just weighed my boys and Gremlin has put on a bit of weight-must of been all those christmas treats!
Gremlin full grown Syrian - 100g (previously 94g)
Pudding around 10 week old Syrian - 85g
Does that sound ok? I can tell he's going to grow up to be a big boy and he is a breeder ham (who was then passed on to the rescue with his litter)

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
I think Fudge (10wk) is 128g (and she's from the same litter as Pudding, what a difference!) She was quite big when we got her though, one of the biggest in the litter.

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
update on Obi who's now 130g (about 4 and a half months). Put on 10g (well done obes). Happy new Year to everyone (and all the little ones too). x
Think that sounds fine horseyholly - looking through this thread sounds like there's a lot of variety in sizes out there. Bet pudding'll grow some more too. x

Re: Hamster weigh-in thread
Ah I only just noticed HorseyHolly asking! I'm sure it's fine, Pudding is only 10 weeks after all, I know it's a bit different from Fudge but she was much bigger than the others to begin with so I don't think it would be anything to worry about
