Question Lump and Fur loss?

so I've just gone to do David's daily routine and he came out for some food, I managed to stroke him (He's still not very tame) and I noticed a hard lump above his back right leg. I lifted up some of his fur and there's no fur on the lump and its quite ruff skin, I took some pictures of it while he was eating and didn't notice ;

Sorry about the poor quality, it was the best I could do at the time. I just feel so guilty, I knew something was wrong since I moved him into his Barney cage in mid June, so I took him too the vets. All the vet said was he seemed to be a bit constipated and gave us Baytril, then we took him again when he was still not himself and they told us he's fine (Basically telling us to stop wasting their time) So we didn't take him again. But now I'm just panicking a bit. it seems a bit like he'd pulled the fur since there was little red scabs.

If anyone can help out with what it maybe, id really appreciate it.

I would say take him back to the vest any lumps should be looked at, the vet will be able to help him and if its just a lump at least your mind will be at rest.

Thanks, I thought I'd ask here first because I don't want to stress him out with a vet visit if he doesn't need to go. Ill check him over when he wakes up and see if there's anymore bald patches or lumps, then ill book him into the vets as soon as possible.

I feel a bit silly now, it seems like its just his scent glands and he's lost the fur around them. But that still doesn't really explain why there was a rough lump on the right side? I'm not sure if its really necessary to take him to the vets now..?
