Default Max's abscess

well, i'm hoping to get into the vets tomorrow (i hardly ever get in the same day any more cos this new small animal vet is like amazing) cos i just had a horrible shock with Max's abscess. I thought it was healing, but i looked at it tonight and it is disgusting. It looks like a big donut type pink thing stretched around this gross black stuff that looks like bird poo. i'm so upset now. why didn't i see that sooner? I'm really worried that i won't get in and will have to wait til Monday. I do have enough Baytril to go til Monday, but then i have the whole weekend to worry about my baby and i am number one top worrier where my children are concerned

well, i got in but it wasn't with Aron. The woman was new and seemed ok. she wasn't shocked by Max's bird poo thing. she said it was just a scab and gave me another 2 weeks baytril for Max and 1 week for Splodge.

There were 2 dogs in the room and everyone was cooing over them and i heard one woman say to another "what's she got?" "looks like a hamster" "oh.... coo coo doggies"

Hamsters are cute people!

Glad to hear the vet thought Max seems OK. Poor wee man. All critters are cute. Some people don't always see it clearly though
