Jasmine is Struggling

Thanks guys.

I did go and pick up the antibiotics. The more I thought about it, the more I realized it was worth a shot.

I also emailed the vet and asked if it would be okay to just drop them on the baby food that Jazzy has been eating. She said that was fine, which made the decision easier for me. I just really didn't want to go through having to scruff her or shove a syringe in her mouth to make her take the meds. I was just feeling like she didn't deserve that at this point, especially if they weren't necessarily going to make a difference.

Thank you again for all the support. I think we all know how hard these situations can be, as we watch our babies fade.

Awww nooo thinking of you GG and of little Jazzy too!!! she's like Cupcake's sister from another mother xx hope she pulls through this and she'll be around for many more cuddles!

I'd love to see her turn around and make a full recovery. But I'd be lying if I said I have high hopes at this point. She just seems so frail.

I sure hope you're right. I haven't even recovered from losing Cheeto yet.

I gave her one dose. She is still about the same... She's just been sleeping most of the day. I keep checking on her and every time I'm so scared that she's going to be gone. But she is still fighting, for now.

You're doing everything right for her, and giving her the meds on a little baby food isn't going to stress her at all so is definitely worth a shot. If Jasmine is walking to her water bottle, leave her a little cucumber near her nest so that it might be enough to satisfy her thirst and conserve her energies. I hope she's able to perk up a little and stay a little longer xx
