I know it doesn't mean he's getting better, but i'm very pleased with Harvey's new fur, which he appears to have grown overnight (maybe to do with his weird fluctuating steroid levels??)!!
It is REALLY dark cream, like in this pic:
It's grown in little patches all over his body!
Some parts of his skin are starting to have a silvery look. no idea what that's about.
Im sure he feels much better about sporting some new hair Bunsey, I noticed when Spud (mink) grew hair back after losing some it was a totally different colour to the rest of his fur, and sort of looked like some weird toupe sitting on his butt!

well ever since he first got it, he has seem nearly 100% fine in himself. he's just more tired and even doesn't come out to play occassionally. He only has physical symptoms. He wants to play so much, but has to have lots of rests. It's like they're trapped inside a rotting body that just won't do what they want it to do.
That was what Bunsey was like. At the end she would walk one length of the room then have to go in. She wanted to follow me so much. i had to walk just 1 step every few seconds so she could keep up. She loved to follow her mamma.
I want to have Harvey PTS a little before the stage Bunsey got to. It's very hard when they're "play play mamma" though. It's easier said than done. Two days before she was put down, with 2 big infected sores, Bunsey used all the energy she had to climb onto my hand
Harvey has more tufts! he is looking very good (well, he'd actually scare small children, but in comparison to what he DID look like). His belly has a covering of soft fur. He's very soft and nice compared to previous dry, flakey crustiness.
Although people coming in and saying "what's that smell" is starting to wear a little thin
