White lumps
So I went to start cleaning the girls' tank out and found a new problem with Charlotte, my estimated 2 years and one month old Head Spot Robo.
I had picked her up and was looking her over when I noticed a lump on her underside, near her openings. It's about the size of a small chocolate coated sunflower seed. There's a second, smaller lump on the other side about a 1/3 of the size of the first. They don't appear to be effecting her from going to the bathroom. They're white-ish and easily noticeable since she doesn't have fur there anymore. I will be contacting the vet tomorrow to get an appointment to have Charlotte looked at, as it was too late to call tonight. This is new and had to have happened after I last cleaned them out, as I didn't see anything then.
Mom thinks maybe this is why Charlotte has been having trouble walking the last 2 weeks as the lumps are near her hind legs. I however don't think it has anything to do with her legs.
I'm just hoping the lumps are just harmless cysts that will need simple draining and not tumors.

Re: White lumps
Just made the vet appointment. They had a time available today, but I couldn't take it due to this being the only day of the week dad is off work and I didn't want to ruin it by going to the vet with mom (still can't drive and the vet is in next town over), even though the visit might just take a little while. I didn't want to risk it if we got held up at the vet's or we have to stay long.
But they had a time for Monday morning, so I took that. Charlotte still doesn't appear to be in pain, she was awake, getting comfy in the nest or something, last time I was in checking on her.

Re: White lumps
Hoping everything goes well at the vets, please give us an update afterwards. Would it be possible to get some clear pictures of her underside while at the vets so you can post them here?

Re: White lumps
I can take some picture before I take her to the vet since I have the rest of today and all of tomorrow before the appointment, but it'll have to wait until she is awake. I hate to wake her up lately since age has made her poorly.

Re: White lumps
Yeah, I would also hate for you disturb her as well since she is not feeling well. That is why I suggested the vets, she is already going to be awake and agitated then .

Re: White lumps
Charlotte doesn't mind me holding her too much. As long as I don't hold her too long she seems okay with it.

Re: White lumps
Okay, I took two pictures last night of the lumps. I couldn't get very good ones as she was wiggling, the lighting was poor, and my camera was refusing to focus when zoomed in. Anyway, the bigger lump is now much bigger and both lumps are not as white as before.
Also, you can really see the fur that is refusing to grow back and her naked tail.
Imageshack was giving me a hard time, pictures in the attachments in next post.

Re: White lumps
Off to the vet in a couple of minutes. We tend to leave early as even though the animal hospital that the vet is located in is a little less than 15 minutes away, there's sometimes traffic both ways you can go to reach it.
