Default Can my cold transfer to my hammie?

Hello,
I have a mild head cold and was wondering if it could transfer to my hamster in any way. Whiskers is rather elderly so I wouldn't want to make him sick.
Thank you!

In theory yes, in practice its complicated. Assuming its a yes is safest, especially with an elderly ham (whose immune system may be slightly compromised anyway). I was ill last week and have only very recently started to relax and stop worrying the hams'd have caught it.
