Pink bump on the testicles?

When I handle Jackson, I always flip him over to check him underneath (as he once had diarrhea, but thats another story!), well anyway, the other day when I did this, I noticed a little pink lump on his balls. I thought at the time I'll try and get a photo, so I put him down to get my phone, and then when I flipped him over again, it had disappeared. So I let it go out my mind. I've seen it a few times since, and tonight I saw it again.. if you imagine him on his back, its on the top of his left ball, sort of near the middle of the two. sometimes its there when I look, but other times it seems to disappear. I've just gone to look again now, to try and attach a pic to this post, had a good luck and a gentle feel around (poor guy!) but it wasn't there again. I'm really baffled by this! Anyone any ideas?!

It is quite normal for the testicles to be quite mobile and stick out at odd angles that look like peanuts under the skin. It can be quite alarming sometimes! It is more obvious when they are warm and the testicles drop down low to cool them.
If the testicle becomes hard or has a permenant lump or is hot and very swollen then it needs checked by a vet but this sounds OK to me and normal

Oh thanks Souffle. That makes me feel slightly better! It sounds like such a silly question, but Jackson has, to put it nicely, got quite a large rear end(!!) and this bump was on the top of them near his belly, rather than his tail end. Can they pop them up that high?!! And also, why do they look like they have such large balls, if they're actually only peanut sized?! He was less than amused, that I was inspecting him down there!!!! haha

The aren't the size of peanuts - it's just the end bit that pushes out looking like a peanut. I didn't explain it well! They do have very large testicles in relation to the body size - probably about half a thumb size which means they have to have a large back end to accommodate them!
That said I haven't seen them pop out that high up near the belly so it might be worth having him checked. It could be a hernia or something else pushing out. Monitor it closely and see how it seems and how often it protrudes. A photo would help but nothing beats a vets examination.
