I write this with a worried heart.
As some of you know, and as I have described in
this thread, Cheeto has been battling a lump on her right hand.
She started off on antibiotics which did nothing, then she had it lanced about 3 weeks ago. After the blackened part of skin disappeared, I thought we were heading in the right direction. But sadly no.
I spoke with my vet today, after sending her a picture of what Cheeto's finger still looks like. Much to my dismay, the vet said she needs to do a biopsy because she said it should've been gone by now. She also said that it is going to be very difficult to do without also removing the finger. But she will do the very best she can so that we can find out what we are dealing with.
I know there is a possibility of the "C" word which really scares this mummy. But I am going to do everything I can for my little princess.
The surgery is probably going to take place tomorrow or Wednesday so any and all good vibes are very much appreciated. Please keep your fingers (and paws!) crossed for my little one. xx
