Hamster not feeling good :(

My hamster Chewy seems quite ill and I dont know whats wrong with him

he is very lethargic, a bit cold, sleeping all the time day and night, dont seem to be eating very well, shakes his head side to side at times, also i noticed he might be constipated as hes bloated around the belly and pellets still showing but not coming out, also at the end of his willy seems a bit sore. Could anyone help me? any advice? I cant go to vets right now as its too late but will deff do tmw. Dont want to put him in his cage though he looks helpless

Poor Chewy

If he seems cold maybe give him something extra to snuggle in if he wants it. Can you tempt him to eat with any favourite treats? Make sure to offer him water too if he's feeling too poorly to make his way to the water bottle. Definitely sounds like a trip to the vets is needed. Best wishes to you both & hope the vet can suggest something.

I don't know where you are located, but you need to take your little Chewy to an exotic vet if you can! If you don't already know of one, here are some resources that you can use to locate one in your area:

Is there anything in his cage he could have eaten and not passed? Like fluffy bedding? Maybe his need to poo is causing the rest of the problems. Have you seen a normal poo from him in the last day? I'd get him into the vet asap, he could die very quickly from constipation, or other problems.

I don't think he has eaten anything like fluff bedding but I do believe the constipation is the main problem. I'm trying to give him water but he's not taking very well
