Re: Cushing's disease???
Oh poor little hamster! I'm not an expert on this although I have learned more about it recently as my ham has thinning fur around her hips but I think there are quite a few people who know a fair bit about Cushings so I hope they see your pictures and reply.
Look at the thread (sticky) on Cushings from SnickersTheFirst in the Hamster Healthcare section. It's very informative.
Most people seem to suggest sudocrem (you can get this at most chemists) to help alleviate the dry skin and itching. Also, remove any toys etc. with sharp edges from her cage.
I do hope you can make Maya more comfortable and sending best wishes.

Re: Cushing's disease???
Oh poor little Maya. The vets thought my Fluffy may have been showing the first signs of Cushing's. Sadly she passed too quickly from other things to ever find out. I'm no expert so I don't want to offer inaccurate information. But I wish Maya the ver best no matter what. I hope you can continue to make her comfortable. She knows she's loved.
