I'm so sorry Carmelo isn't so good - we all know how much you love him and how hard it is when we see our treasured friends getting older. It sounds to me as if you are doing all you can to make his twilight years as comfy and happy as you can - he's had a wonderful long life thanks to your love and care. I'm thinking of you both.

Thank you all for the kind words. I really appreciate it.

So for his baldingness, is there a way I can moisturize it that's safe? anything homemade or store bought that i can do?

Thank you!

Well P@H do a tea tree oil moisturiser that we have used on our balding girl HammiesR, and this may be helpful if Carmelo seems a little uncomfortable and his skin looks sore. Its nice and mild, and Bramble seemed to quite like her hamster massage.

I'd very gently massage a little in, as he may be a little tender round those areas and see how it goes.
