Thumbs up "Organic" stress realiver

So I recently read up on a website about adding yeast to a hamsters diet. Its a website I frequently visit for the generic question and was intrested in this. Yeast is beneficial in a hamster diet because it is high in Vitamin B, supposedly it helps tremendously with stress. Stress, as most of us know, can contribute to illness's such as wet tail and many other diseases.

Anyways long story short I'm considering trying it out on my own Hammies and let you guys know what I think! I just thought it was a helpful tip in preventing illness's or diseases.Or as a general stress reducer, Yeast should only be fed in moderation, about once a week.

NOTE: don't use bakers yeast as it will taste bitter to them. Try going to your local organic stores and see if they sell "nutritional yeast"

Has anyone tried this before?

Yup. I can't remember who but its been tried and helps them. Not sure it was tried for stress reduction though, am pretty sure it was improving the fur I've seen it used for and we ordered linseed as a treat that does that anyway so I never looked into yeast too much.

It should be brewers' yeast. I think Vanilla Yazoo has found her hamsters' coats improved on yeast.
