I wish you all the best with Darcey shazzy and I`m sure this other vet will give you a better idea of what`s going on and the course of action to take. These womb infections seem to be quite a commom occurence in female hamsters and it`s such a shame. Because they don`t menstuate as human women do, it could be that the endometrium (lining of their womb) thickens as a result and shows up as a kind of hamster menopausal bleeding? I don`t know if it`s more common in non- breeding females or not, but it would be great if they could find a solution to it without the need for surgery. Best of luck hun. x
