Re: I think Darcey has Pyometra :(
Thanks all. It's a hard decision because she is runnin around still and is quite well..do I wanna risk her dying when she is actin normal...
However, turn her over and see the blood coming out and I soon realise she isn't normal and needs to be given a chance to be cured of this horrible thing
I can't bare to see her suffer. At least if she slips away during the op she never knew suffering

Re: I think Darcey has Pyometra :(
I feel you have made the right decision shazzy while she is full of beans and fit to go through this surgery. If she started to weaken because of her blood loss, she may not have been in the best health, so now is the time to go for it. I can totally understand that, "should I, shouldn`t I" feeling because it`s not an easy decision to make, but if this blood is due to her womb becoming infected or the lining of it thickening, she would only go downhill as a result. Can`t wait to hear how she is and fingers crossed all goes well for you both today. x

Re: I think Darcey has Pyometra :(
Shaz you have made the right decision even though you have found it hard. Poppy unfortunately was too weak to go through the op.
I hope & pray she will pull through. I adore chubby Darcey. But you know that anyway. xx
