Question Is Pumice Stone good for keeping nails trim?

I was thinking about putting some natural pumice stone in Sheldon's cage. Maybe he will use it to keep teeth and nails trim. Is this a good idea or not?

As long as it has no sharp bits it should be fine. However they can be a bit stubborn and avoid using things like this, I find nails wear down naturally on the wheel and other wooden toys anyway x

Hmm...don't know. That sounds like a good idea. I just clip my hamsters' nails when they're sleepy.

I have one in my bin cage and Izzy just ignores it doesnt even bother with it. Same with my mineral block, just ignores that too.

You could try placing the stone somewhere he'll HAVE to walk on (like under a water bottle), but it's not really necassary. Some hamsters will decide to chew it or walk over it, and others won't so it's up to you whether you buy it or not.
