Re: Pickles story may be coming to an end
I'm glad to hear you are able to give him a chance with the meds and I hope they make a big difference quickly. I have heard of a couple of cases of orchiditis which sounded similar and both hammies made a good recovery
Get well soon Pickle - we are all rooting for you xx

I'm sooo glad he's home, and really hope he makes a good recovery and can enjoy many more twilight times (and share many more grumpy pics with us all) x

Re: Pickles story may be coming to an end
Fantastic! I just got in from the vets myself and must admit I was dreading reading this.
Its not fantastic that he's ill and on meds but I can't tell you how relieved I am that he may be ok after all. Best of luck with those meds, I'm glad he used his paws to "help" with the first dose

Re: Pickles story may be coming to an end
Better than I'd have hoped thanks. As it stands he has a suspected cyst and its being left alone unless it becomes painful or awkward. If it does do those things we'll have to risk him being gassed to get it lanced, but it stayed the same overnight so we hope it won't come to that
I was wondering about Pickle while driving there and back today though, and am really, really glad it was relatively good news for both of us

Re: Pickles story may be coming to an end
I am really glad he's getting the chance for recovery with meds I know how hard it is to contemplate putting a hamster down while they're still active.
Hope he continues to be a brave boy
