Cost of Vets

I was just wondering, how much has a vet trip cost you before? Whats the most expensive you've haerd of it being? How much does medication for things like wet tail cost?

Also, out of curiosity, is there any difference in vets charging for a syrian or a dwarf hamster?

Just want to make sure that i will be able to fully care for my hamster, as i am a student (Oh the shame! ) and money is not my friend, so i would need a bundle saved up in case of an emergency!
